The Zone extends along the Sveta Helena interchange of the Zagreb-Goričan highway (European route E71, E65; Croatian route A4). It is 25 kilometres from Zagreb, 60 kilometres from the border with Hungary (border crossing Goričan-Letenye), and 50 kilometres from the border with the Slovenia (border crossing Bregana-Obrež). It is well connected by traffic to the surrounding towns – Sveti Ivan Zelina, Vrbovec, Križevci, Koprivnica, Varaždin. It is 19 kilometres from the Sesvete station on the Zagreb-Koprivnica-Budapest international railway line. The total area of the Zone – divided into the northern and southern parts – is 122 hectares. The northern part is fully equipped with utilities (electricity, water, drainage, gas, telecommunications, roads, public lighting), while the southern part will be equipped with utilities after the settlement of property-legal relations.
The Zone is 9 kilometres from the Varaždin-Sveti Ivan Zelina-Zagreb state road, and 2.5 kilometres from the entrance to the Zagreb-Goričan highway.
