The Zone is only one kilometre from the centre of Vrbovac. Located at the very entrance to the city, right next to the Sveta Helena-Vrbovec (Bjelovar; Koprivnica) highway exit, it stretches over 90 hectares. It is eight kilometres from the Sveta Helena Road junction (junction of the E71 highway, Croatian route A4), and 35 kilometres from Zagreb. A railway line runs along the southern side of the Zone (direction Zagreb-Koprivnica-Budapest).
